Sandbar, Ross Built remain undefeated in Center soccer

Although the weather cooled down around the Island this past week, it was a much different story at the Community Center’s soccer fields, where some heated action and spectacular games were going on. We saw three players have outstanding games as they scored four goals to ultimately lead their teams to victory There also were a few great defensive shutouts and even a couple other players earning hat tricks.

Sept. 28
Wash Family Construction 3 - Mike Norman Realty 3

A last second goal was scored by Wash Family Construction to even up the score in the last minute of the game as this hard-fought battle ended in a tie.

Sept. 30
Mike Norman Realty 5 - Harcon Corporation 4

Chandler Hardy was a dominant force for Mike Norman Realty in this game, as he scored four of the team's five goals to lead them to victory.

Oct. 1
Harcon Corporation 5 - Wash Family Construction 2

Harcon avenged its loss from the night before with a solid win over Wash Family Construction.

Ross Built 5 - Autoway Ford 1

Ross Built remained undefeated by notching a 5-1 win over Autoway Ford. The name of the game was Andrew Ross, who managed to score four times.

Wash Family Construction 4 - Mr. Bones BBQ 2

Jacob Talucci picked up a hat trick by scoring three goals on the night for Wash Family Construction to secure the win.

Autoway Ford 5 - Wash Family Construction 1

It was a one man show for Autoway Ford in this game, as Michael Latimer displayed great athletic ability by managing to elude defenders and score four goals for his team.

Ross Built 4 - Mr. Bones BBQ 0

Jake Ross kicked in two of the Ross Built's four goals and played solid defense in the 4-0 shutout.

Sandbar 3 - West Coast Surf Shop 1

Leo Tilleli had a pair of goals and Jason Partridge added a score of his own to help Sand Bar earn the win.

Panoramic 4 - Sparks Steel Art 0

Panoramic picked up its first win of the week as they shutout Sparks Steel Art.

Sandbar 2 - Sparks Steel Art 1

Sandbar managed to come out with the win in this very close matchup to remain undefeated and in first place.

Panoramic 4 - W. Coast Surf Shop 0

Panoramic picked up its second win of the week and improved its record to 2-1 with a shutout victory over West Coast Surf Shop. Dylan Joseph had a hat trick.
